TIME'S UP/ADVERTISING: A Recap

Margaret Mead may be on to something. In fact, on May 14th, a group of women in the advertising industry gathered in the common area of Colle McVoy’s office to show their support for TIME’S UP/ADVERTISING – a campaign created to initiate conversation and change over the imbalances women face in the business.

They joined 300 women and 40 agencies participating in events across the country, beginning with a livestream video featuring the national committee in New York. Following discussion about the organization’s inspiration, work-to-date and event goals, the livestream ended and a Minneapolis panel was engaged. This panel featured local advertising women who shared their experiences and helped to frame the three primary topics for the breakout session that followed.
