With a career spanning over 30 years, Doug has developed media strategies for many prominent companies, including Johnsonville Sausage, General Mills, Procter & Gamble, Burger King, Land O Lakes, 3M, Wellmark and Kohler.
In addition to leading a client group, Doug also heads our Insights and Research practice, developing custom audience segmentation and providing deep insights into consumers, media and their preferred brands. He has a unique ability to find nuances within numbers and uncover unique connection opportunities for clients. A natural teacher, Doug delivers much of the agency’s media skills instruction and is an Adjunct Teaching Specialist at the University of Minnesota. There, he teaches the Media Planning class within the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communications for students seeking a concentration in Strategic Communications.
