With a Commodore 64 computer and 300-baud modem, Luis entered the world of communications at the ripe age of 10. He vowed after his first successful computer-to-computer connection to enter a profession that would allow him to pursue the wonders of communication technologies.
Through his 20-year tenure in the advertising industry, he became increasingly determined to leverage emerging communication innovations to bring humanity back to the profession. Luis does this today as Director of Connection Strategy at Compass Point. Prior to Compass Point, Luis ran the strategic planning practice at Martin Williams, and before that he worked at Mullen Lowe in Boston, MA as a Group Media Director. Before heading to Boston, Luis grew up in the Minneapolis advertising community, starting his career at Campbell Mithun. His experience over the years includes the CPG, retail, financial services, technology, dot com, and health care sectors.
