In his 20+ years of service at various McCann Worldgroup companies, Shane has lead a diverse range of client relationships focused on developing and maintaining online marketing campaigns and world-class user experiences.
In his current role as Senior Vice President, Group Account Director with McCann Minneapolis, Shane leads a cross-discipline team powering some of the world’s largest digital food platforms – BettyCrocker.com, Pillsbury.com, and Tablespoon.com. His team also works with General Mills’ B2B arm, General Mills Convenience & Food Service, as well as leading creative services for their rapidly expanding eCommerce initiatives.
He’s also spearheaded the agency’s forays into new models and service offerings, forming an integrated team working on-site with our General Mills client, as well as launching content development, integration and publishing competencies for the agency.
With a passion for new and emerging digital trends, Shane launched General Mills’ first-ever iPhone and iPad applications, the Betty Crocker Mobile Cookbook, and is currently spearheading General Mills’ efforts to syndicate content via voice-activated assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Shane’s work for his clients has earned him the Google Marketing Machine and General Mills GIMME awards for his work on Nature Valley, a Web Marketing Association “Outstanding Achievement in Website Development” award for his work with the Zale Corporation, and a Webby Award for his work on Nestlé Purina’s Rally to Rescue web site.
Shane’s clients have included Nestlé Purina, Cargill, Inc., Kansas State University, GMAC-RFC, Target Corporation, The Zale Corporation, Microsoft, and H&R Block.
